Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being about a subject that was invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally and for lack of asserted importance, because... (your reason here) --BarkeepofBlemont (talk) 12:59, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

it is a French book written during the occupation which is often studied by university students. This book has no official translation and information about it is hard to come by. It would be extremely useful for students to have access to this information, some of which is taken and translated from the French Wikipedia page about this same novel.

Who wrote the book? When was it written? All we have here is the translation of the novel, which is not what an encyclopaedia is for. A brief plot summary would be useful though, along with some basic information about the book and its significance, with some references to support what's written. Removed "He comes up with his own attempts at literature . . ., etc."[edit]

Took the liberty of removing

"He comes up with his own attempts at literature, such as

  • Passez-moi
  • Astyanax, on va filer en douce - Attendons pas d'avoir les poulets à nos trousses."

because, well, it doesn't seem to make any sense! Even in French! Hérisson Ford (talk) 05:12, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Hérisson Ford‬[reply]
