Redundant article?

The article Art intervention already exists. "Urban intervention" isn't really notable enough as a sub-genre to justify a separate article. Most art interventions are urban. A very small number are rural.--Ethicoaestheticist (talk) 23:55, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I disagree with "urban intervention" as being the same category as "art intervention" -- Urban Intervention is a specific term that has grown and grown with the spread of globalism and the explosion of international art events, and refers to politically activist public art, often in reference to cities (and countries) at large, rather than interventions in art galleries, museums, theaters, and other sites predisposed to art events.Trackway (talk) 00:41, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
