Improving the Article[edit]

In my view, these are the various ways in which this interesting article can be further expanded. The Urban Horticulture definition here seems rather limited. Over the past few years it has become an important community movement. Studies show that urban horticulture has been gaining popularity and has numerous important advantages and is an important response to current city problems. The article needs to address the topic in relation to factors of ecology, sustainability, etc as well as mention the numerous benefits it has. It has the ability to play an important role in the environment especially in the context of today's problems. When it comes to the relationship between urban horticulture and the environment there are two views regarding the matter and both the views also need to be discussed. The sole example discussed here is a not so successful scenario in Africa when in fact there are several other places that are successful examples. Comments for Potential Additions[edit]

  • The examples list for urban horticulture don’t contain anything on horticulture in Latin America.
  • Plan to add sections/country-by-country or general latin america example of urban horticultural initiatives, their impacts, as well as the history/relationship between urban horticultural initiatives and the general agroecological movement/revolution of Latin America.
