Hawthorn and Box Hill are different[edit]

Box Hill and Hawthorn are different clubs and should be recognised as such on this page.

Since the VFLW started we've seen a bunch of licences being transferred - Seaport to Southern Saints as one example. They're obviously affiliated but Box Hill and Hawthorn are not the same and the former/present clubs table should reflect that.

Box Hill does not claim the Hawthorn 2018 VFLW premiership, nor does it claim it operated in the VFLW from 2018 until 2022 as far as I can see. The individual VFLW season pages make this clear, but this page does not.

Been going back and forth with @4TheWynne over this and think we need some proper consensus on this talk page now. Totallynotarandomalt69 (talk) 02:53, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
