'Vychlop' should be 'Vykhlop'
[edit]The title of the page should be changed to 'VSSK Vykhlop (Rifle)', since 'Vychlop' is Вычлоп, not Выхлоп (see Wikipedia:Romanization_of_Russian) --Alexander Iwaschkin 01:52, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- Since no one seems to object, I am moving the page to VSSK Vykhlop and making this page a redirect --Alexander Iwaschkin 23:43, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- G'day, I have no objection with the rename, but your method is very incorrect. To rename a page, you should use the "move" button up near the "edit" button. See WP:MOVE#Page histories. To rectify this, I am going to revert your change this article, and have the new article VSSK Vykhlop deleted. Once that article is deleted by an admin, you can move this page the correct way. - Mea culpa ^__^" Sorry! Thanks for your advice! (actually, you should only have written the magic word RTFM instead of exerting yourself :-))) ) --Alexander Iwaschkin 04:38, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- Fixed! no worries. :-) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jayvdb (talk • contribs) 13:38, 17 March 2007 (UTC).
Picture
[edit]I don't know if I wrong but the picture use in this article look more like DSR-1 than VSSK.Tnt1984 (talk) 09:47, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, it is not right. You can see true image, for example, on this site: [2] (text in Russian). --Vladimir-SP (talk) 14:34, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
54 or 55mm?
[edit]Is it 12.7×54mm or 12.7×55mm? IMFDb and Modern Firearms say that it is 54mm. Help? Delija Do Groba (talk) 20:03, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
- 55 per spec/description, 54 measured. 217.50.181.14 (talk) 22:38, 6 October 2014 (UTC)
Popular Culture
[edit]I've removed a section that mentions the VKS in various video games. Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Content guide#Popular culture Listing trivial appearances in video games doesn't benefit an article like this. People who are interested in what firearms appear in certain media can go to IMFDb. Grimwol (talk) 18:35, 28 January 2016 (UTC)
Which one is the correct appelation, "VKS" or "VSSK"?
[edit]As above. AwkwrdPrtMskrt (talk) 12:43, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
