In trying to determine what the record vacuum measured is, I stumbled across this reference:http://cds.cern.ch/record/455565/files/p213.pdf
title EXTREME HIGH VACUUM P.A. Redhead National Research Council Ottawa, Canada

Probably dated 1999, apparently not peer-reviewed but by an expert in the field and I'd guess this paper was part of a CERN symposium or manual/book.
For the curious, the record measured vacuum is about 10E-12 Pa, although it's likely that lower vacuums have been created without being measured.(Interstellar Space is estimated to be 10E-17 Pa).Abitslow (talk) 00:05, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
