Hello and Plans for the Future[edit]

Well, I'm pretty new to Wikipedia, but not to Vagabond. But even having read through volumes 1-21 8+ times, many of the items and organization of this encyclopedia entry are rather confusing... Specifically the focus on many of the locations and the organization of the characters. So many of the locations listed provide thoroughly detailed yet ultimately inconsequential information. I propose a more focused approach for passive readers, including only the essential, recognizable locations, not just something mentioned in passing. I'm perfectly willing to do the necessary work myself if need be, so don't think I'm merely throwing more work to the pile. I'd love this Wikipedia entry for one of my favorite series to be something that shines, and be a cohesive read.

I've uploaded the cover for Viz's recently released Volume 21, and added some information regarding the chapters currently being published in Japan (we're up to chapter 208 now...). -Walterbennet 1:39, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

This is extremely outdated. There's 37 volumes out now. The cover image used should be vol. 1. Why on earth was the image for vol. 1 deleted anyway? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.52.20.242 (talk) 15:25, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Summary[edit]

i have never read vagabond so could you guys please add a summary telling me what the story is about

I gotta second this. The article has a large summary-shaped hole in it. BinaryTree (talk) 22:57, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Structural Reorganization[edit]

This article is excellent, but may be a bit too detailed. The number minor characters is significant and it may be better to shift them to a subpage such as Characters of Vagabond(manga). Secondly, The arc summaries may need to be pared down where possible. Perhaps a paragraph or two would suffice, so that new readers (like me!) have something to look forward to. I'll try to summarize for now, but I hope experts will help in case I remove anything important. Sunshard (talk) 10:47, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kojiro Arc[edit]

I finished adding the Kojiro arc, feel free to edit as necessary Killridemedly 20:32, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shishido Baiken Arc[edit]

Added the Baiken arc, feel free to edit as necessary. Killridemedly 04:21, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Differences Between the Book and the Manga[edit]

I added another section to the article titled, "Differences with the novel". I feel it would be worth mentioning. If not, then please feel free to remove it or edit it in any way deemed necessary. MastaFighta 22:09, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Vagabond21.jpg[edit]

Image:Vagabond21.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Is this still printed / wiki article updated?[edit]

It looks like volumes came out every three months, but last one I can find (33) came out over a year ago (from Jan 2013). Any ideas? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.205.26.136 (talk) 06:30, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
