Remoteness

[edit]

The article waxes lyrically: "isolated from development and unlikely to be visited by anyone who does not already know of it." Is this of encyclopedic standard?

Val Verde is 1 mile from Castaic with 19,000 people, 7 miles from Six Flags Magic Mountain with 2.5 million visitors a year and 11 miles from Santa Clarita with 176,000 people. Val Verde does not seem very "isolated from development." It sounds like it's on the edge of hub bub.
