Talk:Van Leer Packaging

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article seems to pass WP:NCORP, however the sources are hard to find due to the age of the company and when it sold. Also, it might make sense to create a new article or move this one to a name based on it's founder Bernard van Leer who founded the Bernard Van Leer Foundation. It might make sense to merge the Bernard Van Leer Foundation as well and construct one article based on it's founder going forward. (added unsigned by Draper051 January 2020)

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... the company has been bought or ceased operations. The company does hold prominence and notable history. --Billywayne911 (talk) 12:43, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

First look under Wikipedia's new article curation / review process

[edit]

Thanks for your work on this article. As a part of Wikipedia's new article review / curation process I just took a first look at the article.

I think that this topic satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for existence as a separate article. I'm passing it / marking it as reviewed. That said, my comments and suggestions would be the same as by Draper in January 2020 above.

Also, the article is missing a key piece of information. I'm guessing that it ceased operating as a company / company under that name when it was sold but the article does not say that. Sincerely, North8000 (talk) 15:23, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
