The question arose as to which Vasiliy Buturlin was Moscow's diplomat for the Treaty of Pereyaslav: Vasiliy Ivanovich Buturlin or Vasiliy Vasilyevich Buturlin. With my limited Russian, I was able to determine that http://www.hrono.ru/biograf/bio_b/buturlin_vv.html indicates the latter.
