I added that I believe to be missing \sin\theta factors in the vector spherical harmonics \Phi_{11} and \Psi_{11} (PatBuckles (talk) 20:59, 3 October 2010 (UTC))[reply]

No, there are no missing factors. The original formulas are correct; check the references given in the article Tob-C (talk) 13:18, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Great and useful page, thanks. But, maybe the generalization of Unsöld's theorem to vector spherical harmonics should be added? See the eqn. between 89 and 90 in this paper: http://arxiv.org/pdf/1009.4192.pdf The theorem is easily verified with e.g. Mathematica, but I don't know a good source for the proof. Googling "addition theorem vector spherical harmonics" give possibly acceptable sources. Rartino (talk) 14:31, 19 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Tensor harmonics[edit]

If no one objects I think it is probably appropriate to also discuss the further generalization to tensor harmonics here. If the addition spins out of control it can still be made into an independent entry. Virtual Neutrino (talk) 10:08, 20 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

apparently there is also a stub for the spinor version, it seems to me that some integration of all these very related objects is appropriate but let's see if some useful contributions to the individual items can be made first. Virtual Neutrino (talk) 10:12, 20 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It will be very helpful, even just pointing to the references.Gamebm (talk) 05:37, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
