Contested speedy[edit]

I realise that the freshly inserted references are whole books, whose abstracts give no clue whatsoever to the importance or notability of this splinter group. There needs to be some assertion as to this group's electoral success or other ability to influence the polity, as there is none in the article at present. All the refs have page numbers. 2 out of the 3 books are available at googlebooks. Also note that there are other titles which mention the party on google books, see [1], but which are not available for preview. As per notability, I think that we should see the party as part of a larger process, the political chaos in Adivasi politics in Jharkhand 1967-1972. This is a notable phenomenon, in which the party in question appears to have played a role. Googlehits are not very easy to get when dealing with pre-WWW entities in developing countries. --Soman (talk) 08:28, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

All I see is a trivial mention in the book. If you wish to talk about the political chaos in Adivasi politics in Jharkhand 1967-1972, then perhaps it would be an idea to create such an article, and have these parties redirected to it so that the subject can be developed properly. As it stands, we have some pretty useless (no insult intended) stubs and no central article. Ohconfucius (talk) 08:55, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
