I'm not sure about the accuracy of the de source which states that the award has been defunct since 2004 (replaced by something else). This seems to say that the Venus festival is still held, though now in Paris. I'll trawl that site to see if it mentions the awards. Meanwhile I'll tag this as a stub. The Venus festival still exists but the name of the award has been changed. Article to be expanded by translation from de wikipedia when I get time. Tonywalton  | Talk 09:51, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Is there some doubt of this award's notability? I'm asking because Sarah Louise Young article was deleted for not being notable, but she won a Best Actress award in 1997 Venus Awards. As one criteria is: Has won a well-known and significant industry award. Or is it the fact it isn't mentioned in this article? In fact, most of the winners are missing, only 2003 & 2004 are covered quite good. The 1990s recipients are almost completely absent. If one wants to check, her name is in german version of the article: de:Venus Award. 85.217.21.121 (talk) 07:24, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

best actress (german) 2002 was NOT anja juliette laval. in this year she won x award in brussels, not the venus award in berlin. there are a lot of mistakes on this page. correction: she won this award (2002) together with isabel golden and mandy mystery!

Do we really need the results?

[edit]

Do we really need the lists of the results of the Venus Award in this article? They make up the vast bulk of the text, with little encyclopedic information. JIP | Talk 20:10, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The basic entire point of the article is to list the award winners. Guy1890 (talk) 21:48, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
