After reading your post, I do have one questions though. In the cold cream part, you take half of the content talking about how women in Victorian-era tried to maintain a pale and fair skin for disguising their social status, so I was wondering if the cold cream has the effect of making women’s skin look fair and pale? Is that why cold cream being so essential in the Victorian Era?
