I have been drinking lotus leaf tea for about 5 years.Since I cant have caffeinated teas I thought this was a good alternative. The taste is a little bitter and smooth. It can be made weak or strong to your liking. I add milk and sugar to mine. This is the only tea I drink and its too bad its not common in the usa and its also safe with no known interactions with medications. Its supposedly good for the stomach, liver, and spleen.Vietlotustea (talk) 20:46, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

sorry to tell you, but this is not an infusion of lotus leaves, but actually green tea (of the camellia sinensis plant) scented with lotus flowers, and as such is caffeinated. if you can only have herbal teas you will have to stop drinking vietnamese lotus tea. :( —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.24.17.90 (talk) 03:41, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
