Son[edit]

Can somebody check and copyedit the following:

his son Vladislav Tikhonov has reasontly moved to a home in north toronto where he teaches his young pandawan coach Jon Crawford how to go for the championship in the AHL which has always been a goal of the young Tikhonov.(Toronto Star Sports Section A13 Monday October 13th,2005)

There is no connection between this Victor Tikhonov and Aman Tuleyev's murderer![edit]

The author of this page forgot to have a look at 'Links to this page' - otherwise, he would have noticed that a namesake, who also did well at the Olympics, was imprisoned in Russia for a murder attempt in 2000. An unfortunate link, that cannot be blamed on the person who put the then red link on the Aman Tuleyev page, as he did that in September 2005 already... --Pan Gerwazy 20:45, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

General or colonel?[edit]

A note within this article states that the Russian entry for Tikhonov says he was a colonel in the Russian Army -- this article states he was a general. Which is correct? Skudrafan1 (talk) 06:04, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • The ruwiki entry is in fact correct, and Tikhonov is described as a colonel by Russian sources, never as a general. Kges1901 (talk) 16:09, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
