Dean Scandel

I removed a segment from the intro of the article. If it belongs at all, it surely doesn't belong in the top of the article. Anyway, it seems to be a partial copyvio of this.

Shouldn't there at least be an asterisk on their 2010 numbers to let people know they may not be accurate? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.65.47.226 (talk) 03:00, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

There is no indication that the 2010 numbers are inaccurate. The source you provided indicates that the new administration discovered discrepancies in the numbers for the several years under the prior-Mark Sargent administration. 108.16.139.97 (talk) 04:33, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

External links

An unregistered editor has reverted edits I made recently that removed two external links:

I removed these links because they're (a) unnecessary and (b) a violation of our external links policy. Specifically, we very rarely include multiple links to the same domain because "Wikipedia does not attempt to document or provide links to every part of the subject's web presence." That makes a sufficient argument for including the law school link that is a subdomain of the official university link but it also explains why we shouldn't have three links to the law.villanova.edu (sub)domain when one link to the law school's official website (that also links to these other two websites) is sufficient. Thanks ElKevbo! I will look at it when I have a minute. I am sure that the user was just being overprotective of the page and was not familiar with the external links policy. I would also imagine that that the unregistered user took your deletion of links for vandalism of the page and not a good faith effort to improve the page. I looked at this and removed the two redundant links that you mentioned ElKevbo. Thanks for pointing that out. AureaMediocritasMedenAgan (talk) 04:21, 3 January 2013 (UTC)

Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
