[edit]The only cite I have for Vin Scelsa's potential priesthood is from his various anecdotes on Idiot's Delight. Heptapod 18:51, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
Concerns
[edit]I have nothing against Mr. Scelsa but I am concerned about the neutrality of the article considering that in the beginning of its creation the majority of the article was written by Mr. Scelsa himself which would a conflict and a violation of Wikipedia, yes/no? - Article definitely needs more citations. I can see that a lot of the unattributed material is worth noting ( e.g. his views on the DMCA and restrictions on his freeform ethos, which were often addressed by Scelsa on the air); I also know he has a daughter, and a little about his earlier radio stints, so ... more outside material (such as print interviews) needs to be sourced. His radio history can be found in trade publications and his other projects like 'In Your Own Words' would also be referred to in news articles, since the series also spawned CD releases and a concert tour. Attendees there to honor him at the 2007 celebration were also named in news reports of the event. I have started a list of (to my knowledge) certain omissions, as equal in weight or notability to the details currently included. Will have to look into more sources to cite.
