Profession[edit]

Changed profession from electrical engineer to politician. Contacted Professional Engineers Ontario / PEO (the professional regulatory body for engineers in Ontario) and they appear to have no record of him being a licensed engineer. I did try searching under alternate names provided for Mr. Ke (Ke Wenbin/Ke Wen-Bin) but that also yields no results. Holding yourself out to be an engineer is a provincial offense under Section 40 of the Professional Engineers Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.28. If the MPP has not been licensed in the jurisdiction in which he resides and is now an elected Member of Provincial Parliament, I am relatively certain he would not want his biography putting him in contravention of provincial law. He has sworn a parliamentary oath to uphold the laws of the Province. Adtrace (talk) 14:03, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

How old is he?[edit]

How old is this person? The photo on the article and the photo he uses when he sends out mailings and campaign literature appears to show him in his 40s or 50s. He called at my door during the last election campaign, and he looked nothing like the photo - he looked like he was about 60. The only reference I can find for his age in in a Chinese-language story, which states "he was born in the early 1960s" (https://info.51.ca/community/chinese/2016-05/423563.html)

Compare, for example, the picture he has provided for use here on Wikipedia with a picture of him taken in 2019 and published in the National Post at this URL: Regulator looks at Ontario MPP after accusations he improperly claimed to be an engineer--70.31.89.142 (talk) 00:17, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
