Today's edits, begun but interrupted
[edit]A registered editor decided that they could better do the job I was engaged in, and interrupted the line-by-line addition of citations that I had begun. I will leave it to that and other registered editors to make this a fully sourced article, rather than the morass of unsupported information, throughout, that appeared before I began my interrupted work. For those who care, this sort of uncivil, I can-do-it-better treatment of new and IP editors is one contributing reason to why WP fails to attract and retain editors. 98.206.30.195 (talk) 18:46, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
- To give further context, I initially partially reverted the above IP editor's revisions, mistakenly thinking that they were tag-bombing the article. I then added further references to support all of the unsourced statements. There was no incivility intended or involved on my part; the IP editor took offense to my interrupting their edits and attributed it to ulterior motives. Anyone who's willing to improve the article can do so, however. – Epicgenius (talk) 18:54, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
