Issues with moving the page[edit]

Moving this page to the name "Vini Vici" is long overdue, since that is a much more successful (and, as of writing this, more active for the past five years) alias for the duo than Sesto Sento is, but this is currently impossible to do because its own redirect page Vini Vici is blocking it. If anyone would be able to provide assistance in this regard, it would be much appreciated. What would need to be done is this page renamed to Vini Vici and the redirect page renamed to Sesto Sento, but I am not skilled enough to do this. To my knowledge, neither can currently be renamed since the titles need to be switched 1-for-1, and attempts to move one will always be obstructed by the other. I agree. I've made a request for renaming. Although German and Hebrew Wikipedia have separate articles for Sesto Sento and Vini Vici, and in interviews they call Vini Vici a 'side project' or 'new project', nothing new seems to have been produced under the name of 'Sesto Sento' - except for Science Art Wonder (2015) - and as the two groups both consist of only Kadosh and Saharai and both produce psytrance, we can argue that 'Vini Vici' is not so much a separate project, but a de facto renaming of Sesto Sento.  Done Move completed. On second thought, the styles of Sesto Sento and Vini Vici can be distinguished (in Saharai's words, Vini Vici combines 'psytrance' and 'world music'; Sesto Sento was just psytrance). Therefore, I chose the neutral wording 'In 2013, Kadosh and Saharai continued their musical activities under the name 'Vini Vici'.' This way, I leave the question whether it's a renaming or a new separate project up for the reader to answer. Nederlandse Leeuw (talk) 12:26, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Group name origin?[edit]

It would be good to add some information about why they chose the name "Vini Vici".

It is most likely they didn't mean to say Vini Vici (I won wine), but it is possible and worth mentioning. Silver Dante (talk) 07:41, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
