musk?

do they sweat a yellow, gooey musk? just caught a snake (in MS, USA) that is exactly like an earth snake I caught last year. when I picked it up it twisted all round my fingers and"sweat" drops of a terribly stinky yellow goo from several spots along its body. where the goo came out, the scale was raised up almost perpendicular to the rest of the skin. would be an interesting thing to note on this page. and a cool pic, which I didn't take as I just wanted to wash my hands. :) Neesey3po (talk) 18:01, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
