I always use the correspondent reference to make adjustments/additions. Fact is that the names of those quarters are cited. If the translation is correct or not you need to ask [[2]] Alltan. You don't wait for an English user to understand what "Rusasi, Tatasi and Krekasi" means, correct?

The author mentions the neighborhoods of Dukates and Boris, when we have the neighborhoods of Dukasi and Borisha. What is going on here? Alltan (talk) 19:13, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Alexikoua has added "(of the Russians)" after Rusasi, "(of the Greeks)" after Krekasi and "(of the Tatars)" after Tataci. I am trying to understand whether the author explicitly mentions these bracketed interpretations but Alexikoua's first answer above is not clear. Çerçok (talk) 19:17, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It was added because the reference reads " The city was spread over a large number of quarters, with names as Dukates, Boris, 'of the Greeks', 'of the Tatars', `of the Russians',". If they were translations of specific -already existing in text- neighbourhoods that's not mine interpretation [3]. I'm good enough to assume good faith, I suggest you should too. Needless to say that removing this sourced information constitutes wp:DISRUPTION. Also if you don't feel that Giakoumis meets wp:RS (a notable scholar in Albania) you need to take it to RSN.Alexikoua (talk) 05:18, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Dukasi and Dukates, Borisha and Boris seem to be the same names, the sources that attest those names should be checked to provide the accurate forms. As for Rusasi, Krekasi, and Tataçi interpretation by Giakoumis, they are very arbitrary, and he does not provide the originally attested forms. The addition of that interpretation to the attested names as writtent in the current version of the article is WP:SYNTH. – Βατο (talk) 10:36, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
