Chatsworth[edit]

Is vivid in Chatsworth? --24.94.189.11 06:32, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cybersuit[edit]

[1] This sounds quite interesting. How come Vivid has nothing about it online though? Tyciol 19:36, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Porno Valley[edit]

Needs info on this reality show which follows the on and off-set dramas of porn stars, specifically following Vivid stars and producers, with Steve Hirsch being prominent in each episode.

Website policies[edit]

The statement that read that the Vivid website routinely charges users usage of 2 or more sites without the user's consent does not belong on this page, therefore I have removed it and edited the line to be a little less unbias. There is no verifiable link or quotation, and the info seems to placed there by an angry user. This is not a forum to vent anger or frustration.

List of past and present Vivid Girls[edit]

Can someone create a link & list of all past and present Vivid girls, with each linking to that girl's page. That would be great, and I'd do it, but I am too lazy...--Odie1344 19:31, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Who "owns" Vivid? Corporate parent or private? I have heard from two sources that VE is owned by General Motors(?)

This would be a huge undertaking but here is a start to the list ......... (someone else can take what I have here and improve upon it).

Alex Taylor Ashlyn Gere Asia Carrera Autumn Austin (just Autumn when with Vivid) Barbara Dare (unsure if she just worked for Vivid or was under full contract) Brea Lynn (2006 - 2007) Briana Banks (2001 to present) Cassidey Celeste Chasey Lain (started in 1995 and was on and off until about 2001) Chelsea Sinclaire Cheyenne Silver (just Cheyene when with Vivid) Chloe Jones Christy Canyon Dasha (1999 to about late 2003 or early 2004) Dayon Rains (just Dayton when with Vivid) Deidre Holland (unsure if she just worked for Vivid or was under full contract) Devon (was with Vivid from 1998 - 2001) Dyanna Lauren Ginger Lynn Heather Hunter Hyapatia Lee Jamie Summers Janine (Started with Vivid in 1993 - stayed with them until about 2001. Came back in about 2004 until her departure again in 2007). Jenna Jameson Jennifer Stewart Jenteal Julia Ann Julianna James Kayden Kross (2006 - 2007) Kira Kener Kobe Tai Kody Lacie Heart Lanny Barby (aka Lanny Barbie) (2005 to present) Lene Leslie Glass Lexa (aka Lexus Locklear) Lexie Marie Lori Michaels Madelyn Knight Malezia Mercedez (Now Nina Mercedez) Monique Alexander Nikki Charm Nikki Dial Nikki Randall Nikki Tyler Racquel Darrian Raylene Savanna Samson Savannah Sky Lopez (Just Sky when with Vivid) Stefani Morgan Sunny Leone Sunrise Adams Tawny Roberts Taya Taylor Hayes Tera Patrick The Love Twins (Lacey and Lyndsey Love - was with Vivid from 2005 - 2006) Tia Bella Tiffany Taylor Tori Welles Veronica (unsure if she just worked for Vivid or was under full contract)

Okay I added it. I just copy and pasted what you wrote, and I added a < br > infrontof each model (so to put it in the list format, which I'm sure your not supposed to do on this site, but o well) if you could add a link or reference to where you got the info, that would be great. I might of messed up some of the names (Kobe Tai Kody could be one person, but I put Kobe Tai as one person and Kody as another) small things like that deserve 'go-ing over' by someone who is more familiar with them. If anyone else knows when the models left we can split it into two categories Current and Former models. Tydamann (talk) 23:04, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

`````````````````````````````````````` Someone removed the list but I updated. corrected it, sourced it, then posted. Then Trivialist removed it because he said the cite was four years old. That's what ruins Wikipedia. We work hard and some one comes along and undoes the work. BTW, Vivid is privately owned by Steven Hirsch and his partners — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.60.25.228 (talk) 09:30, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Why does the list keep getting removed? Vivid Girls are the most well known contract girls, and were the first, in the adult industry. Saying laundry list does not explain why Wolfowitz removed the list! 174.60.25.228 (talk) 07:52, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The list was reposted then removed by an editor who has a litany of complaints against him. The list is sourced and it does not change, as there are no more Vivid Contract girls, so this list is of historical importance. Some corrections need to be made, but the list never stays up long enough to clean it up. 172.250.73.100 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 06:05, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
List was restored and is properly sourced, so please stop removing it. https://avn.com/business/articles/video/vivid-s-25th-anniversary-how-steven-hirsch-s-company-thrust-porn-into-mainstream-america-359979.html 2601:989:4200:BAA2:61FE:119C:B225:FDAE (talk) 05:07, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This is where the list is SOURCED: https://avn.com/business/articles/video/Vivid-s-25th-Anniversary-How-Steven-Hirsch-s-Company-Thrust-Porn-Into-Mainstream-America-359979.html So please stop removing the list, with the false claim that the list is unsourced. 2601:989:4200:BAA2:D11D:543E:FB82:B32B (talk) 02:40, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Over the years HW keeps removing this historically important section citing various excuses. His two latest were claiming it was unsourced when in fact it was, and then he said he was rvv. How was it vandalism? It is he who keeps vandalizing this and so many other articles. People like him ruin Wikipedia for all of us. I've never seen an editor with so many complaints. What exactly does he know of Vivid or even of the history of porn? 2601:989:4200:BAA2:5912:EBF7:708A:C30A (talk) 04:27, 13 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
In June 2007, a user asked for a list of Vivid Girls, an historic list. Over the years, several users have submitted the list and it has been updated and corrected. However, for some unknown reason Hullaboo Wolfowitz keeps removing the list, giving a different reason each time he vandalizes by removing the list. I see he does the same for hundreds of articles, but all I care about is this one and a few others. Then he libels users who repost the section he keeps removing. Why is HW allowed to continue to do this edit warring? I have never seen any editor with so many complaints as he has, yet he continues to get away with it. He is one of the editors who ruins Wikipedia. We have explained how the list is sourced well to a respected publication and why it is historically significant in the adult entertainment business and in the general entertainment business. So why does HW keep removing it. I am no more anonymous than he is; he uses a pseudonym. Can he please explain why he removes the honest hard work of others? He remains anonymous and non-responsive, in violation of wiki standards to discuss differences. Anyone can see from his large number of edits often taking less than a minute each, that no informed deliberations are considered before his edits. I'm willing to discuss, but he is not so willing. 2601:989:4200:BAA2:5912:EBF7:708A:C30A (talk) 03:56, 15 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Vivid Alt[edit]
We did an onset report w/ the crew from Vivid Alt on one of their first productions. Please consider it for inclusion: http://www.xcritic.com/columns/column.php?columnID=147 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gkleinman (talkcontribs) 23:06, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's referenced now. Vinh1313 (talk) 23:46, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Who owns Vivid? Who started it? Who runs it? Where is it?[edit]
The article discusses Vivid's output, but has little to say about the company itself. Is it privately owned? By whom? Who started the company? When? Where are its offices? For an article that purports to be about a specific company, it has surprisingly little to say about the company. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.123.89.65 (talk) 14:05, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
