"Explicitly recognized?"[edit]

Both the page on IPA and this page state that the Unicode symbol is not "explicitly recognized" by the IPA, but is supported in the Unicode Phonetics Extension Supplement. Should the phrasing be "not officially recognized"? Explicit recognition doesn't make sense in this situation. If the phrasing should be changed, let me know and I can change it on both pages. Unicode description[edit]

"a D with a tail for retroflex and a hook-top for implosive": very unclear. First, it can't be a 'D', it should be a 'd'; second, afaict there is no "hook top" in Unicode. So how do you write this in Unicode? Mcswell (talk) 23:19, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
