NPOV

I have serious concerns about the following paragraph's POV -- while it starts out with some neutrality, it quickly slides into a series of judgments and political opinions (e.g., "foolishly", "bidding of Western powers", "delivered to the West by tricking...", "knowing full well", "hate Hague Tribunal", "he had led Serbs down a dead end.") I don't know enough about the current events there or Serbian politics to feel comfortable revising it, but it does not, in my opinion, currently read as a "neutral" passage:

Kostunica's ideology and rationale for his policies had been a line adopted by many on the Serbian right and in the Serbian diaspora. It maintained the conviction that Serbia under Milosevic foolishly chose to look east for allies, that Serbia should instead have prepared to do all that is necessary to join the West. In return for privatising Serbia's economy and sending troops to do the bidding of Western powers, of working with NATO, these people reasoned, the West will choose to back Serbia against its regional rivals; Kosovo and Montenegrin separatists, and Bosnian Muslim centralists. Having effectively arranged for Serbia to be delivered to the West by tricking a nationalistic and radical electorate into voting to put the hated Djindjic into power, and knowing full well that Djindjic would send people to the hated Hague Tribunal and would carry out economic reform that would damage people's lives by causing unemployment, Kostunica hoped for something in return. With enthusiastic Western support for Montenegro's 2006 independence, as well as Western efforts to centralise Bosnia and to to remove Kosovo from Serbia, Kostunica realised that he had led Serbs down a dead end by being so cooperative with Western powers.

2008 resignation

I added the statement regarding his resignation. Mechasam (talk)

This page needs an update. I know that he lost the election in 2008 and is no longer prime minister, but that story is missing except for the end date of his term. What happened during the election? Why is his administration still referred to in the present tense. --Kurtkoeh (talk) 16:30, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

This complete article should be rewritten

I've removed all the info about Zoran Đinđić being "western puppet" and similar nonsense added by User:Procrustes the clown in February 2008, a vandalism that went unnoticed. I hope I didn't remove anything else that was added in the meantime.--Vitriden (talk) 00:17, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Looting of the shops...and Koštunica

I noticed the attempts (diff and diff) to add information about looting of the shops and other actions which I believe are irrelevant for this article regardless of the source used to support this information.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 23:01, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

Bizarre whitewashing

Why is this sourced content repeatedly removed? 23 editor, if you are unable to read relevant sources, that's fine - just step back and leave editing to those who can. I have the book, and it's in the book, and it's a reliable source; what's the problem? bobrayner (talk) 23:02, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

The book Serbs: History, Myth and the Destruction of Yugoslavia was published in 1997. The events being described took place in 2008. 23 editor (talk) 23:15, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
Its third edition with ISBN 978-0-300-15826-7 was published in 2009. But that is not the point. The point is that information supported by it is irrelevant for the topic of this article.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 23:18, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
I see... Well, in that case carry on. 23 editor (talk) 23:20, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
