Leónamajor (and Endremajor) were a "majors" that is demesnes. "Majors" were not villages with self-government structure, but individual proprties of the land-owner where few people, mostly agricultural laborers lived. Leónamajor was founed in the time of the Kingdom of Hungary and was named after Csekonics's daughter, Leóna while Endremajor after his son Endre. The Serbs renamed the previous one to Leonovac and founded a village where a "major" (demesne) already had existed. --Koppany 10:27, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not contradict to yourself - if Serbs founded a village then first name of the village was Leonovac, they renamed nothing. PANONIAN 21:01, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Serbs renamed the demesne then founded a village at the same place. --Koppany 21:55, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
So? It is clear that village itself was not first known under name that you imposing. PANONIAN 22:18, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
