This ride is not themed after the 1997 movie

[edit]

This ride is not themed after the 1997 movie, the movie was NOT made by Paramount, and the ride is themed in Congo, and the movie takes place in a city. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bigfatcharlie (talkcontribs) 02:56, 9 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

needs some rewrite adjustments...

[edit]

Here's an excerpt that caught my eye: Unfortunately, the movie bombed and nothing came out of the plans other than renaming the Safari Village section into Congo. Nothing happened to the mountain until 1997, when holes, caves, and a repaint of the mountain occurred. Something was happening... "Something was happening..." is not an encyclopdic expression, nor is the description of the mountain changes. SpikeJones 15:30, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

rewrote mountain area.

[edit]

I rewrote the end of the mountain section to fix the tone.

Ride status and infoboxes

[edit]

Volcano hasn't been operational for much of the season, but even in such a situation, the ride's status does not change from "Operating". Wikipedia is not a travel guide, so it's not incumbent upon us to have up-to-the-minute information on whether or not the ride is running. Further, we don't need speculation as to the reason for the closure. --McDoobAU93 17:29, 25 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
