Bibliography and expansion needed[edit]

Dear wikipedians, this artile needs some bibliography (in paper and/or online) to allow further expansion of the content. And inline citations too. Can anyone please help? Thanks & regards, DPdH (talk) 05:22, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The one inline citation used comes from [1] which has a list of books, some of which look like they would be useful here, if someone could get hold of them! The site also has some technical specifications which could be included (the site is translated into English and the translations are not perfect). If I get time I'll see what I can add to the article (unless someone else does so first). Cheers, DerbyCountyinNZ (Talk Contribs) 06:14, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

VW "Thing"?[edit]

I seem to recall seeing these marketed in the early 1970s in the U.S. as the Volkswagen Thing. Am I mistaken, or can anyone find evidence of this? --Eliyahu S Talk 06:59, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

See Volkswagen 181. - BilCat (talk) 07:48, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Spartan interior[edit]

Photo caption should say "Sparse" interior... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.144.3.239 (talk) 21:05, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why? Wikt:spartan is used correctly here. - BilCat (talk) 01:45, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
