Intercontinental qualification

[edit]

The Intercontinental qualification will be not held in Tokyo, Japan. Because Japan Volleyball Association announced that the world qualification(2) is not decided.[1]--Chiba ryo (talk) 04:54, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I can understand you. I have ever rewrited the OGQT template when I see the official website of OG qualification. After that I see maybe daily dig in FIVB website said both World and intercon will be held in Japan. So, I revert back. And, I saw NORCECA Tournament last Sunday in match PUR MEX the speaker said that the winners of this match would go to Japan. So, I think we should wait for next announcement from FIVB. I have a question "not decide"=" not held" or not. Noncommittalp (talk) 05:27, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I read it one more time. And, I think you are right. Thanks. I have a question. The Asian QT winners will be selected first, follow by top three teams from 7 remaining, right? Noncommittalp (talk) 20:36, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The way Noncommittalp explains it is the way it was also explained in the Dutch media, but they probably read it here anyway. The only thing that confuses me how it's 4 out of 8 teams from real qualifiers and 1 out of 4 from a group of definitely weaker teams. It's almost as if they want at least one "loser" to qualify. - FakirNL (talk) 23:22, 15 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
