This page is about in extraordinary creature called a Benthocoden Jellyfish. You can find more information about this creature on http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/jellyfish/facts.php.

This jellyfish looks like the bottom of a very red apple that is cut in to 8 slices but not tooken apart yet. With a clear memebrane covering it. It has fine red tentacles sticking out of the bell of the jellyfish. The other set of tentacles are kind of bent like the top of wire hangers.
The biology and the behavior of this creature is very uncommon. It has no brain like other animals. A so called Nerve Net controls the body of the Benthocoden. The jellyfish changes color to signal one another or attract prey. This jellyfish barely has any senses. It has no smell, no sight ( it uses it tentecle to feel so it doesnt run in to anything ), no hearing, and no taste, but the one senes it does have is touch. This jellyfish communicates by moving its tentacles in different motions.the pradator to the bonthocodon is turles, other jellyfish, and people.
The Benthocodon Jellyfish lives in two places. The first location is in Monterey Canyon. It is underground in Monterey, California. The other location is in San Clemete Basin which is also in California.
Even though the Benthicodon Jellyfish is not really a creature you would talk about and there is not alot of facts about it yet. All animals start out like this. New creatures get discovered everyday.

Spanish Article

[edit]

This article obviously needs a lot of work, but I've found a counterpart at the Spanish language wikipedia [[1]] that I'm going to use as a template to get things started. I hope another editor who is better equipped to handle this article can take over. I'll post this at an appropriate wikiproject.--Torchwood Who? (talk) 05:40, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
