America is not the world

[edit]

Why in an article about Russian camps is the experience of a handful of Americans given space, let alone prominence? Monstrous self absorption.Unraed (talk) 13:42, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Unraed[reply]

With compassion, I ask, if you know of others, name them, and let the outcry against such injustice speak from a foundation of love, mercy and restorative measure. May we hear and care and act. Katemarie54 (talk) 13:34, 26 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Awareness demands accountability

[edit]

As cited in this article, thousands of Americans were imprisoned but not expatriated, how can communication continue without questioning their status, their safety, without demanding documentation for closure for their families? Zechariah 7:10 do not oppress the widow or the fatherless or the Foreigner or the poor, do not plot evil against each other. Katemarie54 (talk) 13:30, 26 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Various flags in the infobox

[edit]

I removed a bunch of large images of flags. We do not use these things in infoboxes, because infoboxes are the summaries of basic information, and these picture clutter the page. We already know it was in Soviet Union, Komi ASSR. Not to say that the caption was misleading: the star was not a "seal" of the camp, it was a trademark logo of Vorkutlag production. And the flag was not the flag of the camp. - Altenmann >talk 17:27, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
