Hello, I am planning on reviewing this article for GA Status, over the next couple of days. Thank you for nominating the article for GA status. I hope I will learn some new information, and that my feedback is helpful.

If nominators or editors could refrain from updating the particular section that I am updating until it is complete, I would appreciate it to remove a edit conflict. Please address concerns in the section that has been completed above (If I've raised concerns up to references, feel free to comment on things like the lede.)

I generally provide an overview of things I read through the article on a first glance. Then do a thorough sweep of the article after the feedback is addressed. After this, I will present the pass/failure. I may use strikethrough tags when concerns are met. Even if something is obvious why my concern is met, please leave a message as courtesy.

Best of luck! you can also use the {{done}} tag to state when something is addressed. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs)

Please let me know after the review is done, if you were happy with the review! Obviously this is regarding the article's quality, however, I want to be happy and civil to all, so let me know if I have done a good job, regardless of the article's outcome.

Lede[edit]

  • The acronym for MIPM isn't used again in the lede Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:30, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Changed
  • It expanded to a second FM station in 1993 - considering we've already spoken about the FM station, this reads like we have three stations. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:30, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Changed
  • as part of an agreement between the institutions - well, it would have to be agreed. I don't think this actually says anything. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:30, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Changed to remove redundancy

General[edit]

  • "The Hot School Dinner",[14] "Home Canning of Meats", "Bread from Indiana Flour", and "Elimination of Smoke, Dust, and Fumes in Industrial Processes" - are these all proper nouns? Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:41, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • These are the actual titles of the lectures given in the sources available.
  • remaining fraction - that's pretty hard maths, perhaps we should spell it out. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:41, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    •  Done
  • FCC is introduced twice in the body. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:41, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • That's a typo, probably from muscle memory since I don't write too many stations of this age. Fixed so the first mention correctly reads (FRC) for the Federal Radio Commission.
  • From 1975 to 1976 - in 1975 and 1976. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:41, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Changed
  • last university radio station in the Big Ten - what's a Big Ten? Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:41, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • A Big Ten Conference. Wikilinked. (There are now two links to this page in the article, but one uses an older name.)
  • The sale was finalized on July 1, 2022 - bit weird for a para. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:41, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Merged into the preceding paragraph.
