Fair use rationale for Image:WECK-AM.jpg

[edit]

Image:WECK-AM.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

WECK not broadcasting in HD

[edit]

I have wondered about the HD that was in the info box. It has finally been removed. This link verifies that the edit was correct. The link is apparently well kept up-to-date. It has the recent change at WLKK in its database.1archie99 (talk) 18:07, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also on fm

[edit]

Simulcasting on fm at 102.9 per website and article in Buffalo News. Can't find fcc info on this.1archie99 (talk) 23:45, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I see that fcc info is now attached to the article. Info regarding fm translator per a website that keep track of translators being used to increase stations reach throughout the country is [here.]
The listing of the fm frequency first in their logo and on air frequency announcing is interesting; fm power is 220 watts, a little more than 1/5 the power of the am transmitter.1archie99 (talk) 21:45, 18 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I am wondering if there is anyone in Buffalo who can receive a good fm signal in Buffalo. The am transmitter adjacent to the studio is in Cheektowaga which is a suburb on the eastern border of Buffalo. I live in the northwest corner of Buffalo and receive a very noisy fm signal that sounds like a distant am signal. The am reception at the same location is very good. Possibly the fm transmitter is located some distance from Buffalo.1archie99 (talk) 16:10, 27 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
