Information is regularly removed from this article to promote false narratives about energy and climate change issues regarding Washington Gas[edit]

A person or people (likely associated with Washington Gas/AltaGas or other fossil fuel interests) keeps changing the section of this entry about the Washington Gas/AltaGas Climate Business Plan. They remove information they do not like - such as that the plan does not achieve carbon neutrality, that it calls for continued burning of fossil fuels past 2050, and it relies in part on gas from animal manure, and that the DC government has stated the plan is incompatible with DC's climate policy. Washington Gas may not like these facts, but Wikipedia is here to deliver information to people, not PR from the subjects of Wikipedia articles.

Sources of Gas[edit]

This article only talks about gas being produced from Coal. "Natural" gas is extracted from the ground with little or no refinement and that is what most customers are using today. It would make sense to mention the change over in this article since the shortage of coal during the civil war period was included. 74.96.214.90 (talk) 16:53, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
