Name change

[edit]

Organization Title

[edit]

I am the Business Manager of this organization, and we are currently doing business under the name Women's Project Theater. Would it be possible to change the title of the article? Thanks so much! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.46.227.128 (talk) 17:20, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request edit

[edit]

Good morning,

I would like to request the name of our page be updated. Currently, it says "Women's Project" but our name is "Women's Project Theater". You may like to visit our website to confirm this: www.WPTheater.org. We would be happy to make this change ourselves but the edit option does not seem to allow this.

Kind regards,

Women's Project Theater — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.46.227.128 (talkcontribs) 10:50, December 5, 2013 (UTC)

Hi 108.46.227.128. I've moved the article to the correct name. I've also reverted the recent changes that were made to the article because they were unsourced and removed references that established the notability of the theater. As it appears you have a conflict of interest, I'd like to ask you to please refrain from editing the article directly from now on. If there are errors in the article, please leave a note here and use the {{edit COI}} template or feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Gobōnobō + c 04:09, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I am not sure what happened here, but I just changed the name of this article to "WP Theater". It was titled, "Women's Project Theater", which seems to have been incorrect. Blue Rasberry (talk) 11:33, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Removed self-published information

[edit]

Wikipedia is a summary of what third-party publications say about an organization, and not what an organization says about itself.

I just removed self-published information from this article. If anyone re-adds information, please only add information backed with a citation, and make sure that the source cited is nor written by the theatre or its financial partners. Blue Rasberry (talk) 11:31, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
