European Cover[edit]

Does anybody think that this image should be added to the article as an alternate cover? It's the European cover. I tried, but it was to no avail. SAVIOR_SELF.777 07:45, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WWF vs WWE[edit]

The title of the article uses WWE, the article itself uses WWF when talking about this game (though uses WWE for some other uses), the pre-release (note the Rating Pending rating) boxart used in the sidebar here shows World Wrestling Federation written out, the actual box art uses the WWE logo http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/gamecube/image/475159.html?box=52723 and the screens in the game itself use the WWF logo http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/gamecube/image/475159.html?gs=26

Shouldn't there at least be something in the article about this whole mess over which title to use, how it's the first game to have WWE on the package, last game to use WWF in game, etc etc etc. At the very least, references to the game's title within the article should reflect the same usage as in the article title (both WWE or both WWF), for consistancy, right?76.226.103.166 (talk) 07:48, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Right! The game itself is the subject here, and it's branded WWF. You could put the disc in a box labeled anything, shake it up, take it out, pop it in and your GameCube will still attempt to simulate the World Wrestling Federation. It's not wrong. It just has no way of reading its own box's label, seeing the future or knowing it's all just a game. InedibleHulk (talk) 10:37, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
