USAID document with extensive (non-copyright) photos and info[edit]

Wakhi Shepherdesses[edit]

Shouldn't there be some mention about the tribe's well-known and unique Wakhi Shepherdesses, such as Afroze-Numa, of which there's an individual article on her, who've been shepherding the yaks and goats of the Wakhi people for centuries, along with some mention of the cultural division of labor?
