@ViaoSun: WP:SOFIXIT. But find better sources, IMDb isn't considered a reliable source. Skyerise (talk) 01:57, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@WP:SOFIXIT are you kidding now? Go and see those episodes and if I am wrong I will allow you to say whatever colorful verbs or adjectives you wish to me. I have seen these episodes and I saw her. Watch it https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x17idmq at 30:51 and other moments in that video. You will see her, is this not reliable too? If IMDB links are not reliable Why there are many IMDB links in many articles for actors?

@VaioSun: See Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Perennial_sources#IMDb. The fact that many articles use it is because of ignorance. It's okay in the external links section, it's not ok as a source. At least that's the majority opinion stated at the linked page. And yes, you can cite the media itself, the film or show's credits are more reliable than IMDb. But pointing to the moments in the video a person appears in isn't the way to do it. They will be in the credits, either the opening credits or the closing credits, so all you have to do is cite the media itself and specify which credits contain the information. You don't have to, and shouldn't, link to any possibly copyright-infringing YouTube videos to do this. Skyerise (talk) 06:09, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Detail on the very limited allowed uses of IMDb can be found at Wikipedia:Citing IMDb. Basically, some writer's credits and the MPA ratings are reliable. But the cast lists are not considered reliable, because they are user-contributed with no editorial oversight. Skyerise (talk) 06:16, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
