Cousins?

Hmmm. A machine tool guy named Flanders from Vermont. ("from Vermont" per Sorensen 1956:95.) I plan on figuring out someday, if possible, whether Walter E. Flanders and Ralph E. Flanders were cousins. If I find out, I'll post cross-refs in their articles. — ¾-10 19:37, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The following was forwarded to me from a Flanders family list server: "I looked up Walter E. Flanders in the big Flanders Genealogy book. His ancestor John is the younger brother of our ancestor Stephen, who are the sons of the first Flanders in America, Stephen Flanders. They are the Boscawen Flanders, and I had the wives mixed up in my first stab at this." This means that they are distant relatives. Sincerely,--User:HopsonRoad 17:14, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
