I think that Walter Garstang was a brother of John Garstang, as I've found that both John and Walter were born around the same time, in the same area, both were schooled at Jesus College, and separate sources tell me that their fathers were both named Dr. Walter Garstang[1][2]. I cannot list this as the truth, because I have nothing telling me that they are brothers, and I don't have an account at one of those ancestry sites. if anyone does, and can look up the names and perhaps the relations, this would help fill in gaps in both of the articles.

The ODNB source mentioned in John's article says "Garstang, John Burges Eustace (1876–1956), archaeologist, was born in Blackburn, Lancashire, on 5 May 1876, the sixth child of Walter Garstang, consulting physician, and his wife, Matilda Mary Wardley. His eldest brother, Walter, was from 1907 to 1933 professor of zoology at Leeds."[1] It's already mentioned in John's article, and can be added here in safety (I've completed the "cite web" information for whoever does so - I would do it now, but I'm rushing for a train).
