Category[edit]

The article was tagged Category:People from Zhongshan, which I kinda feel was inappropriate. Kwok was born and brought up in Hong Kong, although his father was from Zhongshan. I believe such "People from" labels should apply to the current generation only. It's not as if being from a place is inherited like a surname! Ohconfucius (talk) 09:07, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ranking[edit]

The Forbes ranking is a joke. Li Ka-shing is on the The World's Billionaires and the Hong Kong sub-list. However, not on Forbes Asia's Asia's Richest Families. The other major tycoons, Lee Shau-kee family and Cheng Yu-tung family are on both list, however. Matthew_hk tc 14:56, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

DOB[edit]

The original August version is unsourced. David Webb's version (October)[1] is not that reliable either, as information was collected by himself without disclosing methodology. Old Chinese people could also have two version of DOB, which may be the 8th month of lunar calender but not August. Moreover, stating web source, need to pass the check on circular referencing first. zh-wiki did not list month and date of birth until August 2018 , which the data apparently added by ip. While in en-wiki, it was added by Special:Diff/864905859 first (October), and then Special:Diff/864915538 and then Special:Diff/865015972, all without citing reliable source. Nightmare. East Week said YOB is 1948.[2] I doubt he may not born in Hong Kong as well....may be Macau where his father worked in 1940s? Matthew_hk tc 18:18, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
