the Bainbridge vase

[edit]

The story of an antique Chinese vase, found in a house clearance in Pinner and sold for £43m in a small auction room to Wang Jianlin. But he never paid.

I do not think this issue is Wikipedia notable and should not be included. Please discuss. Geraldshields11 (talk) 22:01, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

More key timeline

[edit]

It seems that this version has key information: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wang_Jianlin&oldid=551542266 I put it here in case someone can help incorporate such info into the article. New worl (talk) 10:57, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you New worl. Most of the items were already incorporated into the article. I used the 1968 item with a citation. The rest should wait until citations are found to support the addition of the information. Geraldshields11 (talk) 22:07, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
After reading the entire citation used to support the sentence about Wang in Inner Mongolia in 1968, I removed the sentence. There is no discussion about Wang in the entire article. This is what I removed:
In 1968, Wang was in Inner Mongolia during the Cultural Revolution. http://www.smhric.org/The%20Purge%20of%20the%20Heirs%20of%20Cenghis%20Khan.pdf
If you disagree, please discuss below. Geraldshields11 (talk) 22:21, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing statements concerning job titles and company history

[edit]

The intro and bio infobox on the right says: "Founder & chairman of Dalian Wanda Group". However the body of the article refers to his first connection with Dalian Wanda as the following: "In 1992, he started working as the General Manager for the Dalian Wanda Group, where he has been CEO since 1993." The Dalian Wanda Group article states: "The company was founded in Dalian, Liaoning, in 1988 as a residential real estate company by Wang Jianlin." This bio article also states he was working elsewhere in 1989. These statements don't add up. I'm not a regular editor and won't be back after posting this. 5Q5 (talk) 17:12, 3 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This should be consistent now. Pieceofmetalwork (talk) 13:56, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
