First President?[edit]

Proposed Rename[edit]

Other areas in the Lancaster area that have names elsewhere and need a disambiguation refrence are all suffixed by "Lancashire", rather than Lancaster - which really refers to the main town (e.g. Middleton, Lancashire). It would be more logical to call the page Warton, Lancashire. That would be consistant with sites such as Streetmap, which use "Warton, Lancashire". Warton, Lancashire is ambiguous, there is also Warton, Fylde in Lancashire. snigbrook (talk) 13:00, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The addressing convention for postage to Warton is "Warton, nr. Carnforth" to differentiate from the Warton near Preston/Fylde 194.74.198.2 (talk) 10:48, 21 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
