Block quote, contradictions, and John Olson
[edit]The block quote from the plaque is not a format I've seen before on Wikipedia, I'm not sure if it's something that should be kept. I also noticed that it contradicts the information provided in other parts of the article; whilst the summary and info box say the tower was built in 1931, the quote from the plaque says 1932.
Furthermore, who is John Olson? Why does his opinion matter to the article? --Lilacsoutofthedeadground (talk) 16:39, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
Architecture
[edit]I grew up in S. Mpls. and used to play around the Washburn Water Tower as a kid. I always wondered why it looked like something out of the Nuremberg party rallies, or maybe a monument in East Prussia. Spooky! Any thoughts? Sca (talk) 19:28, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
