History of the Washington Senators (1901–1960) → Washington Senators (1901–1960) – There isn't any other article about the the 1901–1960 club called the Washington Senators, so this is the main (and only) article. As such there is no need for the "History of the..." part as this is about everything related to the club. This is WP:CONSISTENT with other clubs and especially Washington Senators (1891–1899) and Washington Senators (1912), the other two clubs with this name. Oppose. The difference between the examples you mention are that those other Senators teams did not become some other team, while this Senators became the Minnesota Twins so its a part of the team history. This would keep it consistent with other relocated teams, see for example History of the Brooklyn Dodgers, History of the Boston Braves and History of the New York Giants (baseball). - I'd argue that those articles you linked are also badly named. Brooklyn Dodgers redirects to History of the Brooklyn Dodgers, Boston Braves (baseball) redirects to History of the Boston Braves and New York Giants (baseball) redirects to History of the New York Giants (baseball). In all instances the base term (or the base term with disambiguation where disambiguation is needed) redirects to the "History of x" article. This clearly shows that there is no other article about the topic, so why is a sub-set article title needed? --Gonnym (talk) 11:26, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
