"75% recycling rate"[edit]

Quoting current article: "The recycling rates of the individual recyclable materials reached in 2006 a mean of 76% of all currently recyclable items being recycled.[6]". What is a definition of recycling in this particular sentence? I found multiple sources, including Swiss government ones, and various studies that show that for plastics the figure is very low, about 15-25% (by mass), depending how to look at it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.6.34.246 (talk) 11:31, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
