And why is the page locked for editing? Are the insectologists attacking? - Preceding unsigned comment added by Erezsh (talkcontribs) in 2014

People kept editing the article to say that the Water boatman had the loudest penis in the world. One of the administrators assumed the edits were vandalism, so he kept reverting the edits, and eventually he protected the page. Admittedly, it does sound like vandalism. But in this case, it's actually true. Here's an article on it: [1].
They really ought to unprotect this article. Because even aside from this issue, this article is a mess. I'd fix it, but I can't, since it's protected. I could edit the article despite the protection, if I had access to a registered account. But my registered account was banned. I was banned because some idiot administrator thought something else I posted was vandalism, even though it was also a legitimate edit. It's ironic. That should have been in that stupid song. - 68.207.248.247 (talk) 20:51, 18 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"Bug With "Singing" Penis"

[edit]

The National Geographic here mentions the water boatman species Micronecta scholtzi. But this is not listed. Martinevans123 (talk) 12:33, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
