Apostrophe[edit]

The company and brand name have no apostrophe. The brand (at least) did until some time between 1993 and 2001 (based on images on the milestones page of the company website [1]). But was the company Watsons Water (founded 1903 as a subsidiary of A.S. Watson & Co) always unapostrophised? It would seem odd while the product kept it for most of that time. Meanwhile, practice for other brands of the parent company varies - the main pharmacy chain went from Watson's to Watsons, while 'Watson’s Wine Cellar' kept the apostrophe as it became 'Watson’s Wine'. Does anyone know how this little punctuation mark is treated by the company? Onanoff (talk) 20:58, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
