Yerushalmi application of weekly Maqam[edit]

this article is focoused mainly on the syrian way, when outside of the US (and even within the US in other Sephardi shuls)

Sephardi-yerushalmi is considered the defacto standard —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.72.241.193 (talk) 04:45, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What is a Maqam?[edit]

Perhaps the article should be entitled simply Maqam, first explaining what one is, then explaining that there is a different one weekly. Shabbat Shalom. --Shirahadasha 22:34, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Weekly MaqamWeekly maqam – Sentence case per WP:TITLEFORMAT – not a proper name. Ibadibam (talk) 19:19, 26 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. Also per MOS:DOCTCAPS (we do not capitalize religious stuff simply because it's religious) and MOS:SIGCAPS (don't capitalize something just to signify that it is important to you).  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  14:38, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
